Submitting a backdated invoice as an e-Invoice

LHDN only accepts documents dated within the last 3 days; use the e-Invoice issue date to submit older invoices.

Symptom. Saving an invoice whose document date is more than three days ago shows Issuance date time value of the document is too old that cannot be submitted.

Why. LHDN accepts e-Invoices only when the issue date is no more than three days before submission. The AutoCount document date can stay as it is; what has to be recent is the e-Invoice issue date.

Steps.

  1. Open the invoice and click Edit.
  2. Click E-Invoice Issue Date Time and choose today's date.
  3. Save. AutoCount resubmits the e-Invoice with today's issue date and it becomes Valid.

The document date on the invoice itself is unchanged.
